An easy, fun method of learning element names and symbols.
A fun lab which allows students to hone observational skills and logic.
This is a Google Document Powerpoint file. Click the blue H above and the file should open for you. In the menu bar, click “View”, then “Present.” A series of slides will begin. Navigate using your arrow keys. These are element symbols. Your students should tell you the name of the element. There are 150 total slides. They are repetitive in sequence, designed for practice. At every 25th card, there is a color change in the slide. This allows students to acheive certain “levels” in their efforts. In other words, at card 25, they’ve attained Level 1 status, etc.
